I don't know if kcr or any trs got any share through corruption, but at least they completed it quickly unlike previous governments which used to delay it for decades as costs grew and no work was done while giving advances. At least trs wasn't that greedy. 

And when it comes to project design and construction. One of the engineer shridhar deshpande wrote a book and also publicly refuted the baseless allegations which were made without any evidence also giving exact reasons for each design decision.

When it comes to quality he asserted how Kaleshwaram withstood not only multiple floods, but the recent once in a 500 year flood on Godavari. The issues and repairs, maintenance happen in every project ranging from famous Sir Arthur cotton barrage to recent polavaram where diaphragm wall itself was affected in the godavari flood and center approved 2000 crores for the repair. No one talks about it, or the fatalities that happened in srisailam. All the other parties and media are only interested in Kaleshwaram. That's because it'll deviate from propaganda. While he also agreed that during Covid time some maintenance was needed but couldn't due to lack of labour.

The real tregedy is delaying the repairs and people suffering due to the government's lethargic approach. It feels like government wants to run like AP government and not let Telangana utilise its share of water.
